Artist statement
Since I started to act, I knew that I wanted to dedicate my life to the theater, so when I finished high school, I started an acting degree, where I had the opportunity to work with great professionals and join several projects.
With the desire of increasing my knowledge, and motivated with the idea of something different, I moved to Moldova, where I worked with a completely different method from what I had experienced -The russian school, they said-. In that year i started to truly realized that there isn’t just one reality in theater, directing or acting; in each place there is a unique way of living, and this is reflected in the behavior, philosophy and images over the stage. I started to understand the words of Eugenio Barba about the theatrical antropology. Actors rised in different societies will have their own movements, thoughts and artistic sensibility.
I think that the best way to develop as an actor is observing the environment, but of the whole world, that’s why I have proposed to travel and learn how other people live, how they move, how they breathe and, over all, appreciate and feel theater from another side of the world.
In my current days, after -or while- the corona crisis, I’m volunteering in Idrija, Slovenia, where im developing my pedagogy working with kids, meanwhile i developed my personal projects as a writer and musician.
